Garden & Father`s Day Cheese Boards

We have been so blessed with the weather in the past weeks. Lots of eating in the garden, which inspired a few cheese boards to go on the website.

Especially that Father’s Day is fast approaching.

‘ Garden Cheese Board ‘ - follows below which includes Half a Baronet, Half a kilo of Bybrook and a Lypiatt.

What can I say, we live in a few hundred years old cottage which my Mother-in-law turned into a cottage flower paradise. Seasonally we have flowers popping up and make our garden look lovely and colourful. We are quite blessed, apart from lacking the care and love that a garden like this needs. Of course we do our best - but no-one can do it all.

But here are a few lovely flowers from out of the garden.

There is the next cheese board which can be a perfect treat for Fathers day - I dressed it up a little bit with some flowers from the garden.

‘ Daddy’s Cheese Board ‘ - a wedge of Baronet & Bybrook, half a Lypiatt and Wasabi Pearl.

Sadly we are not licensed to sell alcohol but a lovely chilled lager goes perfectly well with either of these cheeses. If you prefer something a bit more fancy - why not try some Pinot Noir or a lovely rosé which we really liked from Beckford Bottle shop in Bath - it’s their own brand one ( they also deliver free within 10 miles ).

Wild Garlic Spread is now coming off from our repertoire as the season has finished.

However Wasabi Pearl, Truffle Pearl and Jersey Curd are perfect BBQ & picnic cheeses.

Making most of BBQs we are putting together a ‘ BBQ cheeses ‘ selection which will be available with an offer for June.

This will be coming up in the next few days - so keep your eyes peeled.

Until next time
